Leslie Curtin, a 1994 graduate rewrote the record books for women’s basketball during her tenure. An outstanding student-athlete, Curtin attained several individual season records, some of which still stand today. In addition she is also number seven in points per game with an average of 17.3 which was also during her senior season. She didn’t just score, she also was an extremely willing passer as she finished both number eight and number ten her junior and senior seasons in total assists with 102 and 100 respectively.
In addition to spectacular individual season efforts, Curtin also left a lasting impact on Queens’ career record books. After playing four years for the Royals Curtin was able to finish first in assists and free throws made, second in total points, number five in points per game, number two in field goals made, and number five in total rebounds.
