Royals Hall of Fame
Caitlin Seed is the first women’s swimmer inducted into the Queens Athletics Hall of Fame. The Hudson, Ohio native was a part of the Royals’ first team in program history coming to Queens from Clemson.
Seed led the Royals to their first NCAA Championship appearance. While there she earned the program’s first All-American honors in both the 100 free and the 100 back. Additionally, Seed was the first Bluegrass Mountain Conference Individual Champion winning the 50 free. She also earned the program’s first BGMC All-Conference honors in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 backstroke while also winning the first BGMC Swimmer of the Week honor in women’s swimming history.
Seed graduated from Queens with a degree in elementary education.
