Crystal Henderson-Walch is the first defender to get inducted into the Queens Athletics Hall of Fame from the women’s soccer program. The Jacksonville, Fla., native totaled seven goals and four assists as a center back in her senior season to help the Royals go 5-3-2 in CVAC play in her senior season. As a result, Walch earned CVAC Player of the Year honors and was named to the CVAC All-Conference First Team. The anchor to the Royals’ defense and co-captain also earned NCSSIA All-State recognition.
 
Henderson-Walch graduated from Queens with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications. Following graduation, she played one summer of semiprofessional soccer with the Northern Virginia Majestic soccer team. She has since earned her EMT Certification, Fire Fighting Certification, and Paramedic Certification.
 
Currently, Henderson-Walch works as a fire fighter and paramedic for Hillsborough County Fire Rescue in Tampa, Fla. She is married to Michelle Henderson-Walch, and they share three children, Whitney(26), Kailey (21), and Zachary (18).
