CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte head men's soccer coach
Oliver Carias is excited to announce the 2025 fall schedule on Monday afternoon. The 17-match slate features six ASUN matchups and 11 fierce non-conference opponents, including N.C. State, Clemson, South Carolina, and Duke.
"We are looking forward to an exciting 2025 fall season, featuring a highly competitive schedule that will challenge our team and provide excellent opportunities to showcase our talent beyond conference play," said head coach
Oliver Carias. "Our returning players bring valuable experience and have been instrumental in our recent success within the conference. We're also thrilled to welcome a strong 2025 class that will add depth and quality to our roster."
Queens will open up the third year of Division 1 with back-to-back road matches against NCAA Tournament qualifiers. The Royals will kick off the season in Raleigh against N.C. State on August 21
st. The Wolfpack are coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, where they lost to the national runner-up in Marshall. Following the Thursday night showdown, Queens will make the short trip up to Concord for a Monday night battle at Charlotte on August 25
th. The 49ers are coming off their second straight AAC Championship title and appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The Royals will return to the Queen City and prepare for a three-game non-conference homestand against a trio of Big South opponents. Queens will welcome UNC Asheville on August 31
st before kicking off September at Dickson Field against Winthrop and Radford. Queens is 5-3-1 over the last three seasons against Big South opponents.
Following the home stretch, Queens will head to the Palmetto State for back-to-back Tuesday tilts. The Royals will head to Clemson on September 16
th for a showdown with the Tigers, the 2023 National Champions, and a program coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. A week later, the Royals will head to Columbia for a bout with South Carolina on September 23
rd. The clash in Columbia will mark the Royals fourth trip to Eugene E. Stone III Stadium since joining Division 1.
Queens will head back to Charlotte and gear up for ASUN action, which gets underway on Saturday, September 27
th, against Central Arkansas. Following the match, Queens will head back to South Carolina for a Tuesday night tilt against Wofford on September 30
th. The series is split 2-2-1 all-time, with their first meeting coming back in 1990.
The Royals will return to league play on October 4
th when they make the trip to Music City and square off against Lipscomb. The 2023 ASUN Tournament Champions are coming off a down season in which they posted a 3-8-5 overall record and 1-4-2 mark in conference play. Queens will return home and prepare for a non-conference match on Tuesday, October 7
th, against USC Upstate at Dickson Field. The meeting will be the first all-time between the Royals and the Spartans.
Queens will then gear up for the final road stretch of the season, which includes four matches away from Dickson Field. The Royals will take on Bellarmine and Presbyterian on the road before returning home to welcome Lipscomb for the second match of the season. Queens will get back on the road and head to Duke and Central Arkansas before closing out the regular season on November 1
st against Bellarmine in the Queen City.

The Royals are coming off a 5-10-3 record and 2-2-2 mark in ASUN play last season. Queens made their second straight trip to the ASUN Tournament since joining the league in 2022. The 2024 campaign was a historic one as the Royals backline shined with five clean sheets in conference play, a milestone that has not been done in league play since Stetson in 2019.
The Royals return key additions, including First Team All-ASUN goalkeeper
Matheus Rhormens. The sophomore was one of the top freshmen in the league and surrendered the fewest goals in ASUN play while leading the league in shutouts and saves per game.
Leontios Zacharia was also named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team after appearing in all 17 matches, including 14 starts. The Limassol, Cyprus native logged the fourth-most minutes on the team and dished out three assists on the year.
Queens also returns senior forward
Michel Feldman, a key scoring piece to the Royals attack. The Frankfurt, Germany native was a Second Team All-ASUN selection in 2023 and started all 17 matches last season for the Royals. In 2024, Feldman turned in 10 points, the second most on the team behind four goals and two assists.
