Queens Drops Crosstown Clash against Reigning AAC Champions

Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Facing their crosstown rivals for the first time in a regular season match, the Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team (0-2) fell to the two-time defending American Athletic Conference champions (1-1) at the Charlotte Soccer Field on Monday night by a final score of 6-0.

TURNING POINT
After breaking the scoreless tie in the 28th minute, the 49ers tandem of Elias Arsvoll and Tate Asante went to work to give Charlotte an early first-half cushion. Tate received a long ball down the right side of the box and lined up a pass into the box finding a sliding left boot of Arsvoll who put it away in the top left corner of the net. Just a minute later, the duo went back to work as a pass into the box was stomached by Asante and dished forward to Arsvoll who ripped home his second goal of the match.
