ATLANTA – Four Royals made history today for the Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team, earning the programs first ASUN postseason honors.
Shannon Donovan,
Kayleen Favreau,
Grace Guglielmo, and
Shannon Kingston were all named to the ASUN All-Conference Second Team while Favreau also received All-Freshman Team honors.
Favreau, the only freshman in the league honored on the all-conference teams list, led the Royals attack this season totaling 48 points on 39 goals and nine assists. The true freshman ranked fifth in the league in goals and ninth in points after scoring three or more goals in seven games this season. She totaled a career-high five goals in Queens' win over Wofford and a career-high five points on five occasions.
Guglielmo led Queens defensive unit this season, totaling 43 caused turnovers to lead the ASUN and the Royals. Her caused turnovers per game ranked top five in the nation all season long. Additionally, Guglielmo led the Royals in draw controls (55) and ground balls (37). She crossed the century mark in all three categories at Queens during the regular season and earned ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors twice.
Kingston ranked 15
th in the league in goals with 28 this season. She also tallied seven assists bringing her point total to 35 on the year. Kingston recorded four hat tricks this season and tallied a season-high four goals in the Royals' first NCAA Division I win over Gardner-Webb. The midfielder also totaled 25 draw controls, 16 ground balls, and 12 caused turnovers. Additionally, she tallied her 100
th career goal and point during the regular season.
Donovan totaled 29 goals this season which ranked 14
th in the ASUN. She also had nine assists, completing the regular season with 38 points. The midfielder recorded three or more goals in four games, notching five in Queens' win over Presbyterian. Donovan also totaled 30 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers, and 14 draw controls. She crossed the century mark in goals during the regular season and is just two ground balls away from 100 in her career.

The Royals are scheduled to face fifth-seeded Kennesaw State in the quarterfinal round of the ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship today at 1 p.m. in Jacksonville, Fla. A win would advance the Royals to the semifinal round where they would meet top-ranked Liberty, who received a first-round bye.
