Box Score BREVARD, N.C. – Sophomore forward
Erick Suarez recorded the first hat trick of his collegiate career this afternoon, leading the Royals past Brevard College. The Royals' 5-2 victory gives them a 2-0 league record and a 5-1 overall record. The Tornados fall to 2-4 on the season with the loss.
In a first half that saw a combined total of eight shots between the two teams, Suarez was able to go one for two scoring in the 26

In the second half, Andrade would add to Queens' lead in the 52

Corey Brown.
Brevard, sensing the game slipping out of reach, answered with their first goal of the match to split the Royals' advantage in half with a goal from Daniel Wheldon in the 60
th.
Queens would respond to the Tornado goal with an aggressive attack over the next 18 minutes before catching fire and scoring three goals in a row over about a two and a half minute span with Suarez playing a part in each score. The sophomore would net his second of the game in the 78
th after Brown drew Brevard's keeper out of the net before dishing the ball off to Suarez.
Suarez then assisted freshman forward
Hunter Bigler's on the first goal of his collegiate career in the 79th. The forward then fired a ball into the net in the 80

Brevard would score another goal before the final horn sounded, but that was as much as they could close the margin following Queens' scoring frenzy.
Junior goalkeeper
Montrell Morgan finished the day with six saves in goal collecting his fifth win of the season to remain undefeated.
Queens returns to Dickson Field on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., to take on Anderson University. The two teams last met in 2009 with Queens falling, 4-1.
