CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte head men's soccer coach
Oliver Carias is thrilled to announce the 2026 men's soccer schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The 17-match slate features four opponents coming off NCAA Tournament appearances and five ACC squads.
"We are excited about our 2026 fall schedule and the outstanding opportunities it presents for our program," said Carias. "This schedule will challenge our team against some of the top opponents in the country, throughout the region, and within a very competitive conference. We are excited to have a strong returning group leading the way while welcoming a talented 2026 recruiting class that will add quality, depth, and character to our program."
Queens will kick off its fifth Division 1 campaign at home on Thursday, August 20
th at 6:00 p.m. against East Tennessee State University. Just three days later, the Royals will travel up to Raleigh for a showdown with N.C. State, a program coming off a National Championship appearance. The marquee match will be the second all-time meeting as the Wolfpack took down the Royals 2-0 at Dail Soccer Stadium last season.
The Royals will return to the Queen City and prepare to welcome Wofford on Saturday, August 29
th. The Royals and Terriers have met six times, dating back to 1990, with Wofford holding a 3-2-1 record in those meetings. Queens will then head to Nashville, Tennessee, to open ASUN play on Saturday, September 5
th at Lipscomb. The Royals and Bisons last three meetings have been tightly contested, with three draws and only two goals scored.
Queens will return home for back-to-back matches at Dickson Field, beginning on Tuesday, September 8
th against William Peace University. Following the midweek tilt, the Royals will host Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12
th. Queens is 2-0-1 against Jacksonville, and outscoring the Dolphins 8-1 in their two wins at Dickson Field.
The brief homestand will be followed by an intense three-game road stretch that starts on Tuesday, September 15
th at Duke. The Blue Devils are coming off their fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance, where they reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Last season, Queens went to Koskinen Stadium and turned in a 0-0 draw, despite being outshot 31-4.
The Royals will then make their first trip to the Sunshine State as they head to DeLand for a Saturday showdown at Stetson. Queens will search for their first victory against the Hatters in their fourth all-time meeting. The road stand will wrap up on Tuesday, September 22
nd when Queens heads to Blacksburg, Virginia, for a non-conference battle at Virginia Tech. The Hokies are 2-0 against the Royals, and will meet again for the first time since 2024.
Queens will return to Charlotte and play three of their next four on their home turf. The Royals will welcome Florida Gulf Coast and West Florida on back-to-back weekends to continue ASUN action. Queens will take a brief break in their homestand to head to Charlottesville, Virginia, for a non-conference clash against seven-time national champion Virginia. The Hoos are coming off a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament, but their seven titles are the third most of any NCAA Division 1 program. Following the events in Charlottesville, the Royals will return to Dickson Field to host Presbyterian on Tuesday, October 13
th.
The Royals will then hit the road for another three-game road stretch, beginning on October 17
th at North Florida. The series is split 2-2, with the visitors emerging victoriously in the previous three meetings. Queens will remain on the road for a midweek matinee in Winston-Salem against the 2007 National Champions from Wake Forest. The final game of the regular season and the three-game road stretch will be in Conway, Arkansas, at the University of Central Arkansas. The Bears command a 5-1-1 series advantage over the Royals, including a pair of victories in the ASUN Tournament.
Queens will wrap up the regular season on their home turf against Bellarmine on Saturday, October 31
st. The Royals and Knights have met five times previously, with Bellarmine holding a 2-0-3 advantage. The ASUN Tournament will kick off on Saturday, November 7
th and conclude on Saturday, November 14
th.

The Royals are coming off a 5-6-6 season and a 0-2-4 mark in ASUN play. Queens defended their den well last season, posting a 4-0-3 record at Dickson Field. The Royals ranked second in the ASUN and tied for 112
th nationally with six clean sheets. Queens returns three marquee defenders on the backline in
