CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's swimming posted a sweep of Davidson on Saturday at the Levine Aquatic Center. The Queens women defeated the Wildcats, 139-66, while the Royals' men posted a 152.5-52.5 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Queens women opened the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay as Maren Patterson, Libby Livesay, Maddie Foster and Mia DeVito finished in 1:43.28. 
• Leonie Tenzer led the way in the distance events, winning both the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:25.86 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:04.26. Madeline House added a third-place finish in the 1,000 free in 10:45.54, while Abigail Zboran won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:05.71 and Josie Libler placed third in 2:11.21.
• Patterson won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.72, with Mia DeVito finishing third in 24.11. Foster added a victory in the 100-yard butterfly at 56.29, followed by Patricia Vazquez Ramirez in second at 58.46.
• Queens also went 1-2 in the 100-yard breaststroke, with Livesay winning in 1:06.24 and Ellie Porter finishing second in 1:07.16. Haley Ross won the 100-yard backstroke in 57.94, while Juliet Burroughs placed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.10.
• The Royals closed the women's meet with a victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Patterson, Foster, Bianca Wettel and Zboran combined for a time of 3:29.78, while Queens' B relay finished second in 3:35.33.
• On the men's side, Queens opened with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as Pablo Ortega Navarro, Filip Urbanski, Emil Harlem and Nien Levy touched first in 1:31.15. 
• Inald Fernandes Perna won both the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, posting times of 1:42.32 and 45.54, respectively. Stamatis Paleocrassas finished third in the 200 free and second in the 100 free, while TJ Spokas placed third in the 100 free.
• Matheus Teixeira Przewalla added a pair of individual victories, winning the 200-yard individual medley in 1:50.64 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 55.92. Dimitris Angouras finished second in the 200 IM, with Eddie Peng taking third. Queens also swept the top three spots in the 100 breaststroke, with Urbanski second in 57.11 and Milan Samoczi third in 57.88.
• Levy won the 50-yard freestyle in 20.34, while Brett Bailey finished second in 20.83. Bailey also won the 100-yard butterfly in 49.63, followed by Nick Karaivanov in second at 50.23. Ortega Navarro added a victory in the 100-yard backstroke in 49.90.
• Queens closed the meet by taking the top two spots in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The B relay of Angouras, Fernandes Perna, Peng and Hunsaker won in 3:02.98, while the A relay of Harlem, Levy, Ortega Navarro and Paleocrassas finished second in 3:03.14.
