Reichenauer Signs with Queens Women’s Basketball

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Junior College transfer guard Paulina Reichenauer has signed to continue her academic and athletic career with the Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball program, marking the next step after a standout first season.

"Pauli is exactly the kind of player we want in our program. She's a tough, versatile 5-11 guard who can really shoot it from deep," said head coach Jen Brown. "What stands out even more is who she is as a person."

A native of Waiblingen, Germany, Reichenauer quickly established herself as a versatile contributor, combining scoring ability, rebounding presence, and defensive activity throughout her freshman campaign at Louisiana State University-Eunice.

"I'm really excited to join Queens because it felt like the best fit for me both on and off the court,"said Reichenauer. "I'm looking forward to competing at a high level, continuing to develop my game, and becoming part of a program that feels like a family."

Brown added, "She's a proven scorer, a winner, and someone who elevates the people around her. We're excited about the competitiveness and character she brings to our team."

Reichenauer earned Preseason Player of the Week honors to open the year, was named Second Team All-Louisiana Community Colleges Athletic Conference, and represented her home country at the European Youth Olympic Festival, adding international experience to an already impressive résumé.

She averaged 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while also contributing as a playmaker and defender with consistent assists and steals across the season. She reached double figures in scoring in the majority of her appearances and demonstrated efficiency from both the field and free-throw line.

Her season was highlighted by a career-high 29 points against Jones College, showcasing her scoring ceiling and offensive versatility. She also posted a season-high 12 rebounds against Copiah-Lincoln Community College, underlining her impact on the glass. Reichenauer added multiple performances with 20 or more points, including a 20-point outing against Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Throughout the season, she displayed balance across the stat sheet, recording games with as many as seven assists (against Southwest Mississippi Community College) and six steals (at SAU Tech), further emphasizing her all-around game and ability to impact multiple phases.

Reichenauer, who attended Salier Gymnasium, brings size, skill, and international experience to the next level. Her development and production as an incoming sophomore position her as a promising addition to the Queens program.
