JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference released 2026 Indoor Track and Field awards today with eight Royals earning Academic All-ASUN Team honors. Additionally,
Oliver Cooper was named ASUN Most Outstanding Freshman.
Cooper was named Most Outstanding Freshman. He earned first-place in the 800-meter run at the ASUN Indoor Championships with a time of 1:50.49, which was good for a personal best. He was the only freshman to claim first place at the event. Cooper also helped lead the Royals to a fifth-place finish in the 4x400.
The Academic All-ASUN recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All student-athletes named to the list boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
