RESULTS
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field team competed in the ASICS Last Chance Invitational at JDL Fast Track today, looking to improve their marks ahead of the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- James Jones secured first place in the men's 400-meter run, crossing the finish line in 50.29 seconds. The time moves the runner onto Queens' top 10 list in the event.
- Josiah Ford took second place in the men's high jump with a mark of 1.86 meters.
- Mekhi Davis took fifth and sixth in the men's long jump (6.33m) and triple jump (13.72m), respectively.
- In the men's shot put, Jakob Nutzel took fifth place with a throw of 14.26 meters.
- For the women, Regina Michel, Weronika Ptaszynska, Anabelle Saindon, and Beatty Grace Hite took 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th in the 3,000-meter run. Each runner posted a personal record in the event as well.
- Sara Sandric and Charlise Carlston took second and fourth place in the women's high jump.
- Vesna Kljajevic took fourth place in the women's shot put with a mark of 13.42 meters.

The Atlantic Sun Conference Indoor Championships are scheduled for February 27-28 in Louisville, Ky.
