LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams are competing in the Darius Dixon Invite hosted by Liberty University.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Rowan Shannon had a great showing, running in the 800-meter invite. She took 13th place in 2:14.63.
- In the long jump, Jada Brown finished 19th in the upper class after posting a mark of 5.44 meters. Halle Perry finished 14th in the lower class with a mark of 5.21 meters.
- Isaac Battles raced in the men's 400-meter open, finishing 13th in 49.67 seconds.
- Oliver Cooper ran in the 800-meter invite, taking 10th place with a time of 1:52.02.
- Jacob Sarto took eighth place in the 3,000-meter invite after posting a time of 8:25.03.
- Michael Robinson and Josiah Ford both recorded a 6.72-meter jump in the long jump lower-class competition. The pair finished tied in fourth place ahead of Dyson Abrams, who finished eighth.
