Four Royals Earn Men’s Lacrosse All-ASUN Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Sun Conference released its 2025 Men's Lacrosse Postseason Awards this afternoon with four members of the Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team earning All-ASUN Team honors for the first time in their careers. Nicky West was named to the All-ASUN First Team while Deacon Adams, Jacob Schreck, and Michael White were honored on the Second Team.
 
West, a sophomore goalkeeper, earned his spot after competing in 12 games this season, making the start 11 times. He completed the year with a league-best .551 save percentage and 136 total saves. He also tallied 33 ground balls and three caused turnovers. West recorded a career-high 19 saves in Queens' regular season finale at Bellarmine and totaled a career-high nine ground balls against Jacksonville. At the close of the regular season, West's goals against average (12.07) and saves per game (11.33) both sat fourth in the league.
 
Adams, a sophomore long stick midfielder, competed in all 14 games for the Royals to rank second on the team in caused turnovers with 19 and third in ground balls with 42. He totaled seven goals during the year and tallied a career-high seven ground balls against UMass Lowell. Adams closed the regular season ranked fourth in the league in caused turnovers per game (1.36) and second in total caused turnovers.
 
Schreck, a senior defenseman, started in 13 games this season for Queens. He led the Royals in caused turnovers (20) and ranked second in ground balls (62). The Kansas City, Mo., native tallied a career-high 10 ground balls against UMass Lowell and a career-high five caused turnovers against Holy Cross. At the close of the regular season, Schreck led the league in caused turnovers and caused turnovers per game (1.54) while ranking fifth in ground balls and ground balls per game (4.77). Schreck will leave Queens ranked second in caused turnovers (72), second in caused turnovers per game (1.26), and fifth in ground balls (188).
 
White, a junior defenseman, competed in all 14 games for Queens, making the start five times. He totaled 15 caused turnovers to rank third on the team in the category, and recorded 27 ground balls. The Whitby, Ontario, Canada, native totaled a career-high four ground balls against Bellarmine and a career-high three caused turnovers against Jacksonville this year. At the close of the regular season, White ranked top 10 in the league in caused turnovers per game and total caused turnovers.
 
The Royals wrapped their 2025 season on April 26, falling in a tight game with Bellarmine. This is the first season that the Royals have players recognized on the All-ASUN Team since Queens transitioned to Division I.
