CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team (3-10, 0-4) hosted the University of Utah (5-7, 4-0) this afternoon for Senior Day, falling 17-3 to the Utes.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Utah quickly got going on the offensive end of the field this afternoon, scoring six unanswered goals in the first quarter. The Utes also struck first in the second period with a goal at 10:41 to lead 7-0 before Queens'
Jack Royer got on the board with his 100
th career goal with 6:18 on the clock. Utah went on to lead 9-1 at the halftime break.
In the second half, Utah continued controlling the game, outscoring the Royals 8-2 to secure the win.

- Senior attacker Jack Royer scored two goals en route to notching his 100th career goal and his 150th career point.
- In goal, freshman goalkeeper Nicky West matched his career high in saves with 17 on the day.
- Will Overly led the Utes with a hat trick while four others tallied two goals each.
