THE MATCHUPS
- This marks the second meeting of the season between the Royals and the Sugar Bears. In their previous matchup at Curry Arena, Queens battled hard but came up short, falling 66-57.

- The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team has struggled this season, posting a 7-13 overall record and a 1-8 mark in conference play. Despite their challenges, the Royals have been competitive in several close games.
- The Royals have performed better on the road (4-6 away) than at home (3-7)
- While Queens hold a slight edge in rebounding (38.4 RPG vs. 37.0 OPP RPG), they have allowed opponents to shoot 43.3% from the field, a key factor in their losses.
- Queens offense is powered by Jordyn Weaver (13.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG), their most consistent scoring and rebounding threat. Ana Barreto (9.1 PPG, 3.2 APG) provides a perimeter presence with a 32.0% three-point shooting rate, while Aylesha Wade (9.0 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 3.1 APG) adds versatility.

- UCA plays with a strong defensive presence, allowing just 61.4 points per game, while scoring 69.4 per contest, giving them a solid +8.0 scoring margin. They also control the boards well, outrebounding opponents by nearly five per game (39.4 to 34.6).
- The Bears' offense is led by Jade Upshaw (16.1 PPG, 4.8 RPG), a high-volume shooter who connects on 36.6% from three-point range.
- Leah Mafua (11.9 PPG, 4.0 RPG) provides additional scoring, particularly from beyond the arc, where she shoots an efficient 41.6% from deep.
- In the paint, Elizabeth Abiara (6.7 PPG, 7.3 RPG) is a strong presence, shooting an outstanding 59.3% from the field, while Bree Stephens (4.5 PPG, 6.3 RPG) contributes with rebounding and shot-blocking (56 blocks).
