THE MATCHUPS
The Royals and Hatters are set to face each other for the fourth time in the series history. Stetson won both meetings last season, pulling out a 73-71 in the first meeting in DeLand, and later in the season leaving Curry Arena with a 62-44 road victory.
Jordyn Weaver scored in double figures in both meetings last season against the Hatters.
SCOUTING THE ROYALS (6-6 overall, 0-1 ASUN)
- The Royals are led by junior forward Jordyn Weaver. Weaver leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.3 points per game, while shooting an efficient 51.6 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line. Weaver is also the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6.8 rebounds per game, and contributes defensively with 13 steals.
- Ana Barreto comes into the contest averaging 10.1 points per game and is one of the team's most reliable three-point shooters, connecting on 34.8 percent of her attempts. Barreto also provides solid defensive energy, contributing 16 steals and 3.5 rebounds per game.
- Offensively, Queens averages 69.1 points per game, fueled by efficient inside scoring and transition opportunities. While the Royals shooting from deep can be streaky, with a 27.5 three-point percentage, Queens capitalizes on free-throw opportunities, making 12.3 per game.
- Freshman Magda Freire has been a consistent scorer for the Royals with a 45.3 percent field goal efficiency, Freire has provided a spark in her role in the starting lineup with 6.1 points per game and 16 steals on the season.
- Queens holds a slight rebounding edge, averaging 39.8 rebounds per game, with a plus 1.3 margin over opponents.

SCOUTING THE HATTERS (7-6 overall, 1-0 ASUN)
- The Stetson Hatters secured a 79-64 victory over the West Georgia Wolves in their ASUN opener at the Insight Credit Union Arena on Thursday night. The Hatters saw a strong contribution from their bench, which accounted for 34 points, and four players scored in double figures for just the second time this season.
- A four-time ASUN Conference champion and Stetson women's basketball's all-time winningest head coach, Lynn Bria enters her 17th season at the helm of the Hatters.
- Offensively, Stetson averages 68.2 points per game and thrives on efficient shooting, particularly from long range, where they make 6.8 three-pointers per game. The Hatters also shoot a solid 70.5 percent from the free-throw line.
- Stetson is led by Cameron Thomas, who averages a team-high 17.1 points per game while shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from three-point range.
- Supporting Cameron Thomas is Tiasia McMillan, a versatile player averaging 9.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while making significant contributions defensively with 10 steals and 13 blocks this season.
- The Hatters also get strong production from Mary McMillan, who averages 9.6 points per game and leads the team in play making with 58 assists. McMillan is a reliable shooter, especially from beyond the arc, where she connects on 35.4 percent of her attempts from deep.
- Defensively, the Hatters are active, averaging 8.8 steals per game and holding opponents to 39.5 percent shooting from the field and 29.2 percent from three-point range.
