CONWAY, Ark.--- The Queens University of Charlotte track and field team finished day two of the 2024 ASUN Outdoor Championships on top as the Royals won a total of six medals on the day.
Notable Finishes
- Job Van Keulen won the decathlon after scoring 7288 pts. To secure the win, Job Van Keulen placed first in the discus and the 1500m.
- Jaroslav Sivuha finished with the silver medal in the decathlon after scoring 6364 points. To win the medal, Sivuha placed first in the javelin and pole vault.
- On the heptathlon side, Emilija Kusic wins gold again after scoring 5051 points.
- Halle Perry also won bronze in the heptathlon after scoring 4849 points. Perry won the 200m and 800m to get the third-place win.
- Jakob Nutzel won the silver medal in the discus event after throwing a best throw of 52.66m.
- Lucy Walliker won the high jump after hitting a best jump of 1.79m.

"It was a fantastic day at the championships; we secured six medals, surpassing our set goal. Job won the decathlon, while Jaroslav was second. Emilija won the heptathlon, with Halle securing third.

Jakob Nutzel secured second in discus throw. Currently, we stand third in the men's and fourth in the women's standings. We have a shot for few more medals tomorrow. It's shaping up to be a great final day."
