DAVIDSON RELAYS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field have nine athletes competing in the Raleigh Relays this weekend after meeting qualification requirements. The remaining members are competing at the Davidson Relays on Saturday.
 
RALEIGH RELAYS NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Petar Canak took eighth in the long jump with a mark of seven meters.
• Oliver Cooper (1:50.42) and Danny Raymond (1:50.45) raced in the 800-meter run, finishing 17^th and 18^th respectively.
• Simone Mouras and Rowan Shannon raced in the women's 800-meter run, clocking in at 2:15.61 and 2:18.59 respectively.

 
DAVIDSON RELAYS NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• In sprints, freshman Isaac Battles finished 10^th in the 400-meter dash and 17^th in the 100-meter dash.
• Jumper Josiah Ford finished sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters.
• Michael Robinson recorded a jump of 7.03 meters in the long jump to take fourth place and post a personal best record.
• Mekhi Davis (14.01m) and Dyson Abrams (13.45m) took 7^th and 8^th place in the triple jump.
• Halle Perry raced in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing second in 1:02.68.
• Jada Brown took second place in the triple jump recording a mark of 11.41 meters.
• Genysis Howard was third in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 11.23 meters.

 
NEXT UP
The majority of the Royals will compete at the Davidson Relays tomorrow while Rowan Shannon, Simone Mouras, Petar Canak, Danny Raymond, and Oliver Cooper will wrap their weekend in Raleigh.
