CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field team opened the outdoor season today at the Charlotte 49er Classic.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Danny Raymond earned a first-place finish in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:49.27.
- In the women's 1500, Simone Mouras finished fifth in 4:33.55.
- In the 5000-meter run, Beatty Grace Hite took second place in 18:04.50.
- In the men's 5000-meter run, Preston Gantt finished ninth in 15:14.93.
- Maya Southerland crossed the finish line in 56.62 seconds to take ninth place in the 400-meter run.
- Isaac Battles took 25th in the men's 400-meter run, clocking in at 49.72 seconds.
- In the group B high jump, Josia Ford earned third place, clearing the bar at 1.95 meters.
