From Coach Pesic
"This meet was quite successful despite our team still being in heavy training and not yet at our peak performance. Nevertheless, we achieved several personal and season bests across all events. A standout performance came from
Jakob Nutzel, who broke the school record in discus throwing with an impressive distance of 57.69m. To put this achievement into perspective, it currently ranks #13 on the 2024 NCAA Div. I East Outdoor Qualifying List.
On the women's side, a notable athlete from this meet was
Lucy Walliker. Not only did she win the high jump with a height of 1.75m, but she also set a personal record in the 200m race and had the fastest time in the 100m hurdles among all female competitors from Queens."
