Royals Finish Day One of Charlotte Invitational with New Personal Bests

CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- The Queens University of Charlotte track and field team started the 2024 Charlotte Invitational off Friday with some personal bests in the field and running events.
 
Notable Finishes
  • Nick Potter finished the 800m with a personal best time of 1:54.43.
  • Zak Freeland also got a personal best time in the 1500m as he finished fifth with a time of 3:43.96.
  • Jakob Nutzel finished fourth in the discus throw as he got a best throw of 49.58m
  • Robin Ott got a personal best in the discus event as he got a best throw of 44.84.
  • Moritz Kleesiek got the 10th place finish in the 5000m as he finished with a time of 14:27.76
