GAME NOTES & QUICK FACTS - QUEENS ROYALS
- The Queens University of Charlotte softball team are coming off a 2-1 weekend in Clarksville against ASUN foe Austin Peay, swiping Saturday's games by scores of 4-2 and 7-2 before falling to the Governors in an eight-inning 1-0 battle.
- After Saturday's two wins, their seven consecutive wins marked their longest overall win streak since February 27-March 10 of 2018, when the program won eight games straight.
- The wins also marked their first six-game conference-only winning streak since April 2-15, 2022 (Division II-South Atlantic Conference).
- Autumn Courtney found herself among another career milestone on Saturday as the sophomore tallied her 400th career strikeout. Courtney now ranks third in program history in career strikeouts with 402 behind Queens Hall-of-Famer Catrina Crisp '01 (475) and Chantel Dodge '12 (762).
- Kayla Smith put on a hitting clinic over the weekend as the graduate senior went 7-10 at the plate with a home run and three doubles. Smith is also currently reached base at least once in the last 16 games.

Scouting the Opponent - CAMPBELL CAMELS
- Campbell took two out of three on the road against Colonial Athletic Association foe UNC Wilmington over the weekend. The road team took game one 1-0 after redshirt junior Isabella Smith pitched a no-hitter, her second career no-hitter, the win also stretched their winning streak at the time to eight games. The Seahawks took game two of the series on Saturday, 6-3, to snap the streak before the Camels won the final game 6-0 in six innings, as the game was called early due to rain.
- After the Camels started off the season 1-9 in their first ten games, they are 26-9-1 in their last 36 games. That includes a 16-5 mark in CAA play, which is good enough for second place in the league behind first-place Delaware. This is Campbell's first year in the Colonial after leaving the Big South following 2023. The Camels won the Big South their last three years in the league and have earned their way into the NCAA Regionals the last three seasons. Campbell also took down No. 3 ranked Duke in Durham on April 10, 3-2.
- Smith was named the DI Softball National Pitcher of the Week on April 16, after being honored as the CAA Pitcher of the Week for a second time this season that same week. Her 19 wins are tied for best in the conference, along with Delaware's Emily Winburn. Smith is also first in the league in strikeouts (158), opponent batting average (.198), and shutouts (6).
- Campbell and Queens have four mutual opponents this season, North Carolina State, North Dakota State, Winthrop, and North Carolina Central. They are both 4-3 against those opponents, as they were both swept in two games by NC State and then swept NC Central, but while Queens split two games at Winthrop, Campbell won both games against the Eagles. They each only played one game against North Dakota State, Queens won, while Campbell lost.
