CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team will travel south to face off against the University of North Florida.

THE MATCHUP
The Royals hold a 1-2 record against the University of North Florida Ospreys. The Royals are coming into the game 0-13 in the conference while the Ospreys are 2-8 this season. 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Royals fell 60-86 to FGCU on Saturday
•  Kemia Ward set a career high points as she finished the game with 14 points. The junior went 6-9 from the free throw line serving as her best performance from the charity strip this season. 
• Jordyn Weaver led the team in points and rebounds for the second time this season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. 
• Weaver picks up her ninth straight game with double-figures and her eight double-double of the season.

STATS TO KNOW

• The Royals are currently on a 21-game losing streak in ASUN play. Their last victory in the ASUN was a 79-75 triumph against the KSU Owls on February 2, 2023.
• The team is also struggling with a 13-game losing streak this season with their last win coming against Gardner-Webb on December 30th
• The team will look to put together a solid road performance because that has been a struggle this season. Queens has only won one true road game when they faced off with Winthrop earlier in the season. The Royals lost 76-57 in the last matchup against UNF and were led by Nicole Gwynn with 17 points.

The Royals continue their Florida road trip in their last regular season road game at Jacksonville University on Saturday, February 24th. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN Plus.
