CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Women's basketball team is set for a pivotal matchup this Thursday as they host Stetson University.

The Royals hold a 1-1 record against the Hatters The Royals are coming into the game 6-18, and 0-11 in ASUN play. The Hatters are 13-12 and 8-3 in ASUN play coming into Thursday's matchup.

• The Royals are coming off a 85-76 loss to the Knights on Saturday, as the game started 13-0 in the favor of the Knights they continued efficiency by holding the Royals to 10 points and scoring 24 in the first period.
• Nicole Gwynn set a new career record of 33 points which ties the record Jordyn Weaver set of the most points scored in the Division I era and in the last five years. 
• Jordyn Weaver recorded her seventh double double of the season finishing the game with 22 points and 13 rebounds. 

STATS TO KNOW

• The Royals aim to break their 19-game losing streak in ASUN play. Their last victory in the ASUN was a 79-75 triumph against the KSU Owls on February 2, 2023.
• Queens holds a 1-1 record against Stetson, winning the inaugural matchup at home 77-75 and losing a overtime thriller last month in DeLand, 71-73
• Nicole Gwynn dropped 24 points followed by Jordyn Weavers 17 points and 13 rebounds in the last matchup between the two teams.
• Stetson has struggled away from DeLand coming into the game 5-6 in away games to their 8-3 record at home.

The Royals will be back at home this Saturday, February 17, as they will host Florida Gulf Coast University. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN Plus.
