FORT MYERS, FLA. — The number-eight seeded Royals are slated to face the number-one seeded Florida Gulf Coast in the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship Quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov. 21 inside Alico Arena at 7:00 PM ET.

The Queens University of Charlotte women's volleyball team made history on Wednesday, Nov. 13, by securing their first-ever bid to the ASUN Championships with a dominant 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-20, 25-20) over West Georgia. This win also set a new benchmark for the most wins in a single season since Queens transitioned to Division I. The Royals delivered an impressive 47 kills in the match, led by standout performances from
Kayla McDuffie, who tallied 13 kills, and
Anna Grace Sparks, who added 11.
Queens capped off their historic week with another sweep on Saturday, defeating Austin Peay (25-23, 30-28, 25-15) in their regular-season finale. The Royals maintained a .237 hitting percentage and notched 49 total kills.
Jordyn Johnson contributed a stellar double-double with 19 digs and 11 kills, while senior
Kayla McDuffie continued her strong form with 11 kills and six blocks.
VS. FLORIDA GULF COAST
In the all-time series, Florida Gulf Coast leads 5-0. The Royals and the Eagles just recently matched up the regular season on Nov. 3 inside the Levine Center, and the Royals took the first set 25-20 before the Eagles took the next three to solidify the match. It was the first time that Queens had swiped a set over the Eagles in the all-time series.
