CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte volleyball came up short in straight sets (25-16, 25-22, and 25-15) to West Florida on Saturday afternoon in the opening Atlantic Sun match of the season.
MATCH NOTES
- West Florida opened the match with a 25-16 set victory, hitting .500 while Queens hit .212.
- Queens finished the match with six blocks with three coming in each of the second and third sets
- The second set was tied 21-21 after a West Florida attacking error, but the Argonauts closed the set on a 4-1 run to clinch the win (25-22).
- Six ties and two lead changes highlighted the second set
- Saturday's victory marks the first conference win for West Florida as members of the ASUN.
