CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Queens University of Charlotte women's volleyball squad will bring their talents back home to the Queen City to face the University of West Georgia Wolves, the newest members of the Atlantic Sun, on Wednesday, November 13 at 6:00 PM inside the Levine Center.

In the Royals' last matchup with the Wolves, the Royals took the 3-1 win (25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15). The match saw the Royals post a dominating 18 kills in the first set. Additionally, Alleigh Johnson, Jordyn Johnson, and Emma Norris all put up double-digit kills on the night, as Norris' 10 kills claimed a career-high for the redshirt freshman. Kayla McDuffie also snagged six blocks on the night to lead through the match (two solo, four assisted). The win marked Queens' best start in conference play since they started 2-0 the 2021 season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
West Georgia:
- Callaway Cason will be the primary weapon for West Georgia on both sides of the net, as the graduate student has 221 digs and 27 blocks on the season.
- Cason ranks seventh in the ASUN in assist per set with 8.28. Other notable Wolves in the league standings are Alex Strating (ninth, .94 blocks per set), Victoria Schmer (fifth, .37 aces per set, second, 5.06 digs per set).
- The Wolves average 10.7 kills per set, which ranks 11th in the ASUN. Queens ranks ninth in the ASUN with 12.1 kills per set.
- West Georgia's service game is one of the most impressive in the ASUN, as the Wolves average 1.79 aces a set - ranking third in the ASUN behind FGCU and Lipscomb.
- West Georgia also ranks significantly high on the defensive side in digs with 16.32 per set, which ranks fifth in the ASUN.
