CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 16
th-ranked and fourth-seeded Queens University of Charlotte Royals are scheduled to face top-seeded and third-ranked Limestone University in the semifinal round of the South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship.
Queens advanced to the semifinals in the SAC Championship for the sixth time in program history after defeating fifth-seeded Newberry, 14-13, in overtime on Tuesday night. Senior attacker
Tyler Ewen scored the game-winner as the clock struck zero in overtime.
Kealan Pilon leads the Royals this season with 90 points on 51 goals and 39 assists while Ewen follows with 81 points on 50 goals and 31 assists. Pilon's point total this season set a new single-season record at Queens.

William Powley is 11-3 on the year with a .537 save percentage.
The Saints received a first-round bye to the semifinal round after finishing the regular-season with a 14-1 record. They closed league play at 9-1 after going on a 10-0 winning streak. Their lone loss came at the hands of No. 9 Wingate.
This season, Gavin Kesselring leads the Saints with 49 points on 30 goals and 19 assists while Christ Erneston has 43 points on 31 goals and 12 assists.
In goal, William Baxter is 13-0 with a .626 save percentage.
Queens trails the all-time series with Limestone, 19-3, after falling to the Saints during the regular season by a score of 19-6.
