RALEIGH, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams opened their weekend of competition today at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State. The three-day meet will run through Saturday, March 27.
Queens had two distance runners see the track today as
Seb Anthony raced in the men's 1,500-meter run and
Fatima Alanis raced in the women's 10,000-meter run. Anthony took 43rd in his race recording a new collegiate-best time of 3:49.53 in the event. Alanis took 21st finishing her race in 35:17.86.
The Royals will be back in competition tomorrow at the
Raleigh Relays and the
Adidas Winthrop Invitational.
