CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Queens University of Charlotte assistant sports performance coach
DJ Haas has joined the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) North Carolina Advisory Board.
As a member of the advisory board, Haas is tasked with promoting the NSCA for the state of North Carolina. He is one of nine members on the board and his primary responsibility will be to connect the state director with other college strength coaches in North Carolina. He will also have a hand in planning and executing all facets of the North Carolina State Clinic which includes speakers, topics, and operation management.
Haas joined Queens Athletics in Fall 2017 after most recently working as the strength and conditioning coordinator for football at Hanover College. Haas was solely responsible for the strength and conditioning of the Panthers football team and was the first strength and conditioning coach in Hanover history.
His direct team responsibilities at Queens include men's basketball, women's golf, softball, wrestling, and men's volleyball.
"I am excited to take this next step in my professional career, to represent Queens University, and to use what I learn to better serve our student-athletes," Haas stated.
