CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Department of Athletics in conjunction with
Mark Lepkowski, head strength and conditioning coach, is pleased to announce the addition of Jena Ready to the staff as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Â
"Jena is a great addition to the strength and conditioning staff," said Lepkowski. "She brings a positive attitude with a fantastic work ethic, and strives to become a better coach every day."

She was also recognized on the all-tournament team for three straight seasons and was named SAC Player of the Year following the 2014 season. This season the captain earned SAC Championship MVP honors. Ready currently ranks second in Queens history in goals (156) and third in points (193).
Â
While a student at Queens, Ready gained valuable knowledge as a strength and conditioning intern at UNC Charlotte last year. This year she worked as an intern at Queens and with SwimMAC's Team Elite.
Â
"I am so incredibly lucky to be able to remain a part of Queens' athletic department," Ready stated. "I feel very fortunate to begin my career here and I know Mark and I will make a great team. I want to thank Jeannie King and the entire athletic department for giving me this opportunity."
