CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team (7-6-2, 6-3-2) has been seeded fifth in the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship and will face fourth-seeded Anderson University (11-3-2, 6-3-2) in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 6.

Tomorrow's match will be the 22nd meeting between the Royals and the Trojans. Queens leads the series, 19-3-2, despite Anderson sitting 2-0 in the last two matchups.

Both teams enter the match coming off wins as the Royals won on Wednesday, Nov. 3 defeating Tusculum University by a score of 4-2 and the Trojans defeated Coker in overtime by a score of 2-1.

Queens is led by
Felipe Mendonca who has 31 points this season on 14 goals and three assists. Mendonca tops leauge in game-winners with three on the year.
Andre Castro follows with seven points on three goals and one assist.

Alexandre Cox-Ashwood leads the Trojans this season with 30 points on 13 goals and four assists while Eloy Allimadi has 15 points on five goals and five assists.

Tomorrow's quarterfinal match will take place in Anderson, S.C. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. and the winner will advance to the semifinals which will be played at a neutral site in Matthews, N.C.
