CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Wednesday night, the Queen University of Charlotte women's basketball team opens South Atlantic Conference play against Lenoir-Rhyne University at 6 p.m. in Hickory, N.C.
The Royals are off to their best start since the 2012-13 season, winning three of their first four games to open the schedule. Queens has collected wins over Piedmont International, University, Southern Wesleyan University and North Greenville University with the team's only loss coming against regional power Limestone College.
Tomorrow's contest will be the 16
th meeting between Queens and Lenoir-Rhyne since the 2002-03 season. The Bears hold a commanding 13-2 advantage in the series, including a current six-game winning streak.

Jaleah Goff led the team with 13 points to go along with four rebounds. Adepoju followed with 11 points, making 4-of-5 shot attempts, and five rebounds, while Wang had nine points and nine rebounds to narrowly miss a double-double.
-This season Queens has made 41.4% of its shot attempts on offense and forces opponents into nearly 27 turnovers per game on defense.
Eanes leads four Royals in averaging double figures with 12 points per game. Goff and fellow freshman
Jaymi Golden chip in 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Adepoju averages 10.3 points and a team-high seven rebounds per contest.
Lenoir-Rhyne Bears (3-3, 0-1)
-The Bears are members of the South Atlantic Conference, having made the postseason tournament every season since 2008-2009. LR has won the SAC Regular Season Championship four times with the most recent title coming in 2013-2014.
In their most recent game, Lenoir-Rhyne came away with an 86-59 win over Winston-Salem State in Hickory, N.C.
-On offense, Lenoir-Rhyne has a field goal percentage of 40.7%, but commits 19 turnovers per contest. Defensively, the Bears allow 63.7 points per game and average 3.5 blocks per game.
Senior Maddi Suddreth fills up the stat sheet with 15.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 54.3% from the field and 42.9% from deep. Fellow senior Kendall Toineeta follows with 14.3 points and 5.8 assists per game.
