CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team will host Lenoir-Rhyne this afternoon in the South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship. Queens is on the hunt for their fourth title in a row, having not lost a single conference game since joining the league in 2013.
The Royals defeated the Bears, 20-7, earlier in the season on the road. Senior attacker
Abigail Paulus led the Royals with a season-high six goals, while
Alexandra Bruder,
Kelly Dowd and
Ally Blood each recorded hat tricks.
Katie Pawlikowski and
Hanna Scott added two goals apiece, and
Shannon Mansberger tallied one goal.
