Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C.  – Queens University of Charlotte, ranked 14^th in the nation, welcomed No. 1 Limestone College to Dickson Field this afternoon, falling 19-8 to the Saints. The loss brings Queens' overall record to 5-2, while Limestone improves to 7-0.
 
Spencer Corkery led the Royals with four goals, while Jesse Oliver added two goals. Garrett Sadler and Austen King chipped in with one goal apiece, while Garret Chan totaled three assists. Eric Dolan took the loss in goal after recording 13 saves.
 
After Corkery got the Royals going with a goal at 12:28, Limestone would answer with back-to-back scores to take a 2-1 lead at 4:34. A goal from Oliver would knot things at 2-2 with 4:14 to play in the period, but the Saints found the back of the net three more times to take a 5-2 lead heading into the second.
 
Following a goal from King to open the second, the Saints took over scoring five consecutive goals to extend their lead to seven, 10-3. A goal from Sadler at 2:02 would give the game a 10-4 score at the break.
 
By the end of the third period, the Saints had increased their lead to eight, 14-6, and a five goal spurt in the fourth pushed the margin to its largest of the day, 19-6.
 
Queens was outshot 43-25 this afternoon, and lost the ground ball battle, 32-16.
 
Limestone was led by Mike Messenger who totaled six goals and one assist. Ben Higgins finished with three goals, while Chris Clancy totaled two goals and three assists. Charlie Sheehan recorded two goals and two assists. Goalkeeper Patrick Sherdan finished with nine saves.
 
Queens is back in action on Saturday at Dickson Field when they welcome Mars Hill University. The game is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
