Box Score SALISBURY, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte traveled to face Catawba College this afternoon in men's lacrosse action, defeating the Indians 14-11 to improve to 2-0 in South Atlantic Conference play. The Royals are ranked 17
th in the nation and hold a 5-1 overall record, while Catawba now sits at 0-3 on the year and 0-1 in league play.
Though the Royals never relinquished the lead in today's game, it was a close affair between the two teams. The game would sit tied five times during the battle with the Royals pulling away for good in the fourth when
Garrett Sadler put two balls in the back of the net in the final eight minutes of action to secure the three-goal victory.
Senior goalkeeper
Eric Dolan was a huge factor in the Royals' win over the Indians collecting 22 saves on the Indians' 33 shots on goal. Catawba would outshoot Queens 53-36 in the game. The Indians also won the battle for ground balls, 38-28, and collected 20 face-off wins to Queens' nine.
Garrett Sadler of Queens led with a hat trick and an assist for four points.

Nick Carlson each added two goals.
Vincent Valenza totaled three points on one goal and two assists.
Liam Lynch led Catawba with three goals and one assists, while Connor Kennedy and Joe Barber totaled two goals apiece. Ryan Applegate recorded 11 saves in goal.
Queens will host No. 1 Limestone College at Dickson Field on Tuesday, March 8 at 4 p.m.
