The double-header series would be the team's first South Atlantic Conference wins as they move to 2-2 in league play and 12-16 overall. Coker would drop to 10-18-1 overall and 1-3 in the SAC.
In the first game, the Royals landed on the board first with

Ashton Whitaker. A few plays later,
Kayla Hall would take advantage of an error by Coker's third baseman to bring the game to 2-0.
Both teams put up three runs in the third as Makayla Shore found a two-run homer followed by Carlann Geddes reaching the plate off a single form Ashley Gallman. Queens responded with a double from Hall to score
Taylor Cheek. Hall and Lathan would both reach home off a fielding error in right field to keep the team up by two.
The Royals found one last scoring inning in their fifth at bat, bringing home another three runs.
Lyndey McCurry plated a run to start the inning off followed by

Scoreless through the opening three innings of game two, Coker broke the silence with a three-run homerun over the left center wall from Maria Williamson. The Cobras held the led until the bottom of the sixth when

With runners starting at second base, Coker managed to work Katelyn Chambers over to third but left her stranded.
