Jefferson City, Tenn.- The Queens University of Charlotte softball team's game against Carson-Newman has been moved to Friday, March 18, 2016. The road double-header series will begin at 2 p.m., with the second game to follow at 4 p.m.

The game will serve as the first conference matchup of the year for both teams as Queens enters with an 11-14 overall record after two battling losses to the Patriots of Francis Marion. The Eagles enter at 14-8 record, sharing a double-header win with North Greenville.

The two teams concluded the 2015 season playing at Queens for a split result. Carson-Newman found the first game win with a 12-4 score. Queens would battle back to take the second game 7-6.
