Men’s Lacrosse to Host a HEADstrong Project Game Day in Honor of Noah Hays

Charlotte, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team is excited to announce it will be hosting a HEADstrong Project Game Day in support of local high school lacrosse player, Noah Hays. The team will raise money in support of Hays and his family as well as the HEADstrong Foundation leading up to "Noah Strong Day" on March 12, 2016, at the Mars Hill game.

In the weeks prior to the game, the players and coaches will raise money as they build towards their $5,000 goal. All donations will go directly towards fighting cancer, benefiting both Hays and his family, and the HEADstrong Foundation. Money raised will help Hays who is undergoing treatment for Rhabdomyosarcomas, a type of cancer that effects muscle and bone marrow, in addition to supporting the HEADstrong Foundation to help improve the quality of life and support those affected by cancer.

Hays is a local high school student and a lacrosse goal keeper from Charlotte, N.C. He was an honorary guest speaker at the annual Blue and White scrimmage for the Royals and has supported the team at a few practices. Queen has also shown support by attending a Turn & Burn lacrosse practice (Hays's team) this past fall.
