ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced men's lacrosse annual awards today with seven Royals recognized on the all-conference team.

Casey Hock,
Evan Farkas,
Tim Cloud and
Patrick Thomas were all named to the first team after helping lead Queens University of Charlotte to a share of the SAC Regular Season Title for the second year in a row. Hock and Farkas led the Royals' offense this season combining for total of 98 points. Farkas led the team with 58 points on 40 goals and 18 assists, while Hock totaled 48 points on 29 goals and 19 assists. Additionally, Farkas led the SAC in goals and ranked second in points. Cloud and Thomas helped anchor the Royals' defense combining for 22 caused turnovers and 44 ground balls.

Named to the second was attacker
Garrett Chan who completed the year with 39 points after totaling 21 goals and 18 assists.
Jonathan Paige also made an appearance on the second team ranking first in the SAC in face-off wins (164-250), and in ground balls (110).
Eric Dolan was recognized on the honorable mention team after totaling 165 saves, ranking third in the league, with a .500 save percentage.

As a team, the Royals were SAC's statistical champion in team man-up offense. The Royals lead the league and the nation with a .545 percentage.

The 2015 SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament begins today with the quarterfinal round. The Royals, having received a first round bye, will face the winner of the Mars Hill versus Wingate game on Thursday at 4 p.m.
