Box Score GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team grabbed a 10-8 win over Tusculum College this afternoon to secure a first round bye in the South Atlantic Championship, and share the regular season title for the second straight year. Queens (8-7) completes the SAC regular season with a 7-1 record. The Pioneers fall to 4-8 on the year and 2-6 in the league following the loss.

Evan Farkas led the Royals today with five goals and two assists, while
Casey Hock added two goals and two assists.
Spencer Corkery added two goals and one assist.
Eric Dolan took the win in goal after totaling six saves.
Following a tightly contested first half of play that produced a 5-4 halftime score in Queens' favor, the Pioneers would pull ahead 8-6 after outscoring the Royals 4-1 in the third period.
Queens would take back control of the game in final 15 minutes of action thanks to four unanswered goals. After Tusculum's Ben Boyd was sent to the sideline for pushing, Queens' Corkery found the back of the net for a man-up goal at 13:39. Hock then scored the game-tying goal at 12:03, and followed with the game-winner at 8:36. Farkas would score an insurance goal at 3:28 as the Royals continued to hold the Pioneers scoreless for the remainder of play.
The Royals outshot Tusculum 32-26 this afternoon putting 20 shots on frame. Queens also edged the Pioneers in ground balls, 30-29.
Chris Ryan led the Pioneers with four goals, while Boyd added two goals and an assist. Steven Raimondi chipped in with two goals. Kevin Haggerty totaled 10 saves in goal in the loss.
The Royals are back in action on Thursday, April 16 at the Queens Sports Complex in the semifinal round of the SAC Championship.
