CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team closed the regular season on a seven game win streak in conference play en route to recording a 9-7 record on the year. Their 7-4 South Atlantic Conference record gave them a fourth place finish in the league after being tabbed to complete play in eighth according to the SAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
As the fourth seed, Queens will host fifth seeded Anderson University (8-7-1) who also completed league play at 7-4. The Royals' 3-2 overtime win over the Trojans during the regular season would give them the leg up in the seedings. After falling to Queens and Lincoln Memorial, the Trojans closed their regular season with a win over Mars Hill. Andre Carle leads Anderson with 17 points on seven goals and three assists. Lars Kaula has 15 points on six goals and three assists.
