Box Score NEWBERRY, S.C. – Queens University of Charlotte's
Isaac Walker of the men's soccer team scored his third goal of the season today to lift the Royals (6-7, 4-4) past the Wolves of Newberry College (2-11, 0-8).
Walker, a junior midfielder, put the Royals ahead in the 27
th minute after beating his defender in the box and putting the ball in the bottom right corner of the net. His goal would hold as the only of the game despite the Royals totaling 17 goals on the day. Walker has now scored once in each of Queens' last three games.
Queens led in shots on goal today, 8-3, after outshooting the Wolves 17-8.
Matt Current completed play in goals with three saves for Queens, while Brad Dixon of Newberry totaled seven saves.
The men's soccer team will be back in action at Dickson Field on Wednesday when they host Anderson University at 5:00 p.m.
