Box Score Charlotte, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball (0-4, 0-2 SAC) fell to Lincoln Memorial (3-1, 2-0 SAC) 52-41 on Saturday, November 22, 2014. The Royals shot 100% from the free-throw line in the first half making all ten attempts before concluding the game with a 78.9 free-throw percentage.
The Royals controlled the game in the first half leading by five with five minutes on the clock. However, Lincoln Memorial took hold of the second, out shooting Queens 30-19.

Sheridan Pressley each had nine points for the game. Pressley also had two steals and an assists.
Lacey Singletary found eight points in the second half for the Royals to add to four blocks and a steal.
Stephanie Smith grabbed a double-double taking 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Railsplitters. Megan Pittman followed shortly behind with nine points to add to her 14 rebounds in the game.
Although it would be a slow start to the first, the Royals battled back from a 12-4 deficit against Lincoln Memorial.
Sheridan Pressley started the climb for the Royals taking a three-pointer with 10:34 left in the half. Moments later, Pressley would have a jumper at the top of the key to bring the Royals within one (13-12).
Carmen Richardson had the honor of putting Queens in the lead, stepping to the line to make both free-throws (14-13). Queens continued to build holding the Railsplitters basketless for four minutes. All the while, the Royals hit eight free-throw attempts to continue to build on the score eventually reaching a 20-17 lead. The two teams met at 22-22 to break for the half.
The Royals would struggle in the second half against the Railsplitters making zero three-pointers and only five of nine free throws. Lincoln Memorial started the second as Kara Rawls taking the first point with a free throw before grabbing a steal for a fast break layup (25-22 Lincoln Memorial). Lincoln Memorial found momentum as they took a 35-26 lead with Pettit and Singletary both grabbing the only baskets for the Royals on the Railsplitters run. The Royals would be unable to close the gap as Lincoln Memorial found another run (9-0) at the 13 minute mark expanding their lead to 44-29.
Victoria Robinson broke the streak grabbing a jumper off a fast break (44-31), however the team would be unable to capitalize. Singletary and
Nikki Gleason each found the basket for the Royals as the team would fell 52-41.
Queens will face Coker College next Tuesday, November 25 for their first road game.
