The Saints wasted no time in getting their offense going after watching No. 6 Pfeiffer's offense be held in check throughout their semifinal game against the Royals. Limestone scored the first four goals of the game as Brittany Howard jump started it with a pair of free position scores and Katie Farrell had the other two.
Queens broke up the run with a goal by Zimmerman off a free position at 17:42 but Limestone's Sarah Oor would then take matters into her own hands. Less than 30 seconds later she would convert on a man-up free-position goal before notching a shorthanded goal nearly 10 minutes later to make it 6-1. Over the next four and a half minutes, the Saints would go on to score three more to push to an eight goal lead before the Royals' Ready made it 9-2 heading into the break.
In the second half, Limestone delivered back-to-back goals to push to an 11-2 advantage with 25:14 remaining before Queens duplicated the feat to pull back to within 11-4. Goals by Oor and Sylvia Queener then sparked a 4-1 run that gave the Saints a commanding 15-5 lead with 17:45 on the clock. The Royals would eventually close to within 16-9 with 12:18 left thanks to three straight scored by Larranaga, Zimmerman and Grange. Unfortunately, they would get no closer as Limestone closed out the game with five straight goals to reach the final margin of 21-9.
Oor led the Saints with five goals and six assists, while Katie Farrell scored six goals and Chelsea Treat added four goals and an assist. Queener finished play with a goal and three assists and Jessie Aguglia notched three goals. Rashelle McLellan started in goal and played 55:49, allowing nine goals and making three saves to improve to 16-1 on the season.
