CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Lander outlasted Queens University of Charlotte volleyball Tuesday night in Greenwood, N.C., by a match score of 3-0, 25-13; 25-21; 25-16, in nonconference action.
The Royals, who drop to a record of 6-18, were led by
Brittany Harvey (Matthews, N.C., Sun Valley ) with six kills,
Erinn Moore (Longwood, Fla., Lake Mary) with six assists and
Sarah Malpass (Gainesville, Fla., Gainesville) with 12 digs.
Melissa McCracken had seven kills and eight digs and Courtney Simmons added six kills to help Lander improve to 14-9.
Queens will play in the Carson Newman tournament this weekend with competition starting on Friday at 2:30pm against the host school.
