CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Queens University of Charlotte Head Cross Country Coach [Coach's Name] has announced the 2026 men's and women's cross country schedule, highlighted by two home meets at McAlpine Creek Park and the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships in late October.
"We are excited about this upcoming cross country season and the continued growth of our program," Head Coach Will Crocker said. "Our home cross country meets are always and exciting time for our team and look forward to seeing Queens fans and alum come out and support us here in Charlotte."
The Royals will open the season on Friday, Sept. 11, hosting the Queen City Invite at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte. Queens will then return home nearly a month later to host the Royals Cross Country Challenge on Friday, Oct. 9, giving the Royals another opportunity to compete in front of the home crowd.
Following the home stretch, Queens will travel to Spartanburg, S.C., for the University of South Carolina Upstate Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17, serving as the team's final tune-up before postseason competition.
The postseason begins with the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships on Friday, Oct. 30, with the championship site to be announced.
The Royals will then compete at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 13, in Spartanburg, S.C., where they will look to earn qualification to the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
