CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Royals' men's and women's cross country continued the 2026 season this Friday night while hosting the Queen City Invite. Queens University of Charlotte's women's team earned 205 points and finished in fifth place, while the men's team received seventh place with 202 points.

Men's 8000m

• Bailey Horvath — 20th — 25:27.2
• Noah Boeck — 33rd — 26:03.9
• Preston Gantt — 44th — 26:25.2
• Casey Claassen — 63rd — 26:56.3
• Oliver Cooper — 80th — 27:22.2

Mouras led the way for the Royals women's team, while the freshman, Bailey Horvath, set the pace for the Royal's men. University of North Carolina at Charlotte won the men's team contest with 41 points and Elon took the win in the women's team race with 24 points.
