CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Queens University of Charlotte placed four student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Teams, as announced Tuesday afternoon. The annual recognition honors individuals who have excelled both academically and athletically across a range of NCAA at-large sports.
Jakob Nützel represented the men's team, while
Jada Brown,
Halle Perry, and
Vesna Kljajevic of the women's team earned the recognition. Each athlete recorded a 3.50 cumulative GPA while also ranking top 50 in the region in their events.
ABOUT COLLEGE SPORT COMMUNICATORS
The 2026 College Sport Communicators Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on their respective playing fields and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better to qualify.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
